| John T Vermont, Senior Principal |
John T. Vermont, P.W.S., C.E. has over 22 years of consulting
experience in field studies, assessments, and environmental permitting
throughout the southeast. He has extensive experience with wetland
characterization, delineation, and management, plus vegetation and wildlife
surveys. He is a regular speaker at conferences involving environmental
regulations, policy, and compliance.
John has delineated wetlands on several thousand sites throughout the
southeast, plus portions of the Midwest, West, and U.S. Virgin Islands. He
has negotiated permits in numerous Corps of Engineers’ Districts and EPA
regions. John earned his B.S. in Applied Biology from Georgia Tech in 1983.
Prior to coming to WEC, he was a Senior Partner, Division Manager, and
Principal Scientist at firms within the Atlanta metro area.
John is a member of the Ecological Society of America, and the Society of
Wetland Scientists. In his spare time, he is active with Trout Unlimited in
the Dahlonega area when he isn’t fishing or tying flies.
