WILDLIFE & FISHERIES

The staff at WEC presently includes professionally certified wildlife biologists, ecologists, and fisheries biologists. Wildlife studies conducted for our clients include the development of wildlife management and monitoring plans, mark-recapture trapping studies for raccoons, opossums, and rodents, and spotlight census surveys for white-tailed deer. We also have experience in conducting Habitat Evaluation Procedures (HEP) studies to evaluate wildlife habitat impacts and mitigation plans. Fisheries studies have included general species occurrence surveys as well as the field application of various state and federal protocols for fisheries sampling in watershed assessment studies.
